GPRaw Privacy Policy

GPRaw collects nothing. No personal information, no analytics, no usage data, no identifiers, no crash reports. No accounts, no advertising, no third-party services. Your photos and your data never leave your Mac.

GPRaw is a macOS app that renders, converts, and edits GoPro GPR raw photos. Everything below is just the detail behind that.

Your photos

All decoding, editing, and exporting happens locally on your Mac. GPRaw never uploads or transmits your photos. It reads only the files you open, select in Finder, or drop on it — plus, through its Finder and Quick Look extensions, the GPR files macOS asks it to thumbnail or preview, which are likewise rendered entirely on your Mac. Depth-based effects (Lens Blur) run a bundled machine-learning model on-device.

Photos library access

Adding exported images to your Photos library is optional. If you turn it on, GPRaw requests add-only access from macOS: it can save new items into your library but can never read, change, or delete your existing photos. If you decline, everything else still works — exports simply go to files.

Purchases

Any purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. GPRaw never sees or stores your payment details — it only learns whether a purchase is active.

Network

GPRaw makes no network connections of its own. The only time anything leaves the app is when you choose a link yourself — Help, Contact Us, or a store page — which opens in your web browser.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version ships inside the app and is posted at gpraw.com/privacy. Since GPRaw collects nothing, changes are expected to be editorial.
